Due to continued construction, beginning 12/22/25 and until further notice, public areas of the courthouse will have limited to no access. All parties on cases are REQUIRED to appear by Zoom unless otherwise instructed by the Court.
The front entrance of the courthouse is closed. If you have been instructed to appear in-person, the temporary entrance is located on Webster Street in the back of the courthouse. Disability parking is available in the parking lot at the temporary entrance.

2026 COURT HOLIDAY CLOSING SCHEDULE
The Circuit Court of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Boone County, State of Illinois, shall adjourn and shall be closed on the following legal holidays:
April 3rd - Spring Holliday
May 25th - Memorial Day
June 19th - Junteenth
July 4th - Independance Day
September 7th - Labor Day
November 11th - Veteran's Day
November 26th & 27th - Thanksgiving
December 24th - Christmas Eve
December 25th - Christmas
All matters returnable on said legal holidays will be rescheduled to the next available date.
The date for filing all motions and pleadings be extended to the next business day of this Court.
